BTS has earned two more award nominations for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.
According to MTV’s latest announcements, the South Korean superstars are nominated for Group of the Year and Song of the Summer.

Voting for Group of the Year opens September 4, while voting for Song of the Summer opens September 7.
BTS had previously been announced to be nominated for five awards.
Their total nominations are as follows:
- Song Of The Year – Dynamite
- Best Pop – Butter
- Best K-pop – Butter
- Best Choreography – Butter
- Best Editing – Butter
- Song Of The Summer – Butter
- Group Of The Year
“Butter,” released May 21, is BTS’s second English single after the Grammy-nominated “Dynamite.” The single topped the Billboard Hot 100 for nine weeks.
