At an early age of 9, Baeby Baste demonstrates that sharing one’s blessings is a good thing, especially now that the world is suffering from a pandemic.
In an episode of “Stories of Hope,” the “Eat Bulaga” star shared that even before the COVID-19 threat, he has been extending help to those who need it.
“[Nagbibigay] po ako ng bread, cologne, cheese. Sabay kami kumakain, [naglalaro] sa labas dito sa St. Agnes orphanage dito sa General Santos,” he said.
“Tuloy-tuloy lang po kami ng [bigay] kasi friends ko po sila,” he added, referring to the children in the shelter.
When the pandemic started, however, Baeby Baste said he hasn’t been able to personally go and help; minors have not been allowed to go out. Instead, his mom and grandma are the ones who deliver the donations.
Even from afar, Baeby Baste said he is grateful to be able to share what he can for others.
“Sobrang happy po ako na mag-give ng mga love sa other people tas ma-appreciate po nila ‘yan.”
In his Instagram account, Baeby Baste has also been sharing some of his donation drives for front liners including police officers and medical health workers.
With the world still suffering from a health crisis, Baeby Baste has this to say to everyone: “Don’t lose hope, don’t lose faith. Always pray to God and all will be fine.” — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA News
