After 20 years, the whole Harry Potter cast is back for some magic and nostalgia.
As seen in the nearly two-minute trailer for “Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts” released Tuesday, the special episode will show the cast visiting some iconic places in the series, including Diagon Alley and the Hogwarts Express on Platform 9¾.
Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without them reminiscing about their favorite moments on set, as well as the lessons they learned while shooting eight films together.
“We’re family, we’ll always be part of each other’s lives,” said Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley.
Apart from Rupert, Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), the tribute will also feature esteemed cast members from across all eight films.
Among those already seen in the sneak peek were Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange), Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort), Gary Oldman (Sirius Black), and Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy).
According to Warner, the special is produced by Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Warner Horizon at the iconic Warner Bros. Studio Tour London — The Making of Harry Potter.
“Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts” premieres Jan. 1 on HBO Go.
