Fil-Am singer H.E.R. has received a whopping eight nominations in the upcoming 64th annual Grammy Awards.
The certified “Grammy darling” shared the news on Instagram this week, expressing gratitude for a total of 23 nominations tucked under her belt at the age of 24.
“[Eight] NOMS??????????? ONLY GOD. Thank you to all the people that helped create these records!!!!! WOOOOOO 23 nominations at 24,” H.E.R. wrote.
H.E.R., whose real name is Gabriella Sarmiento Wilson, has proudly represented her Pinoy roots, coming from a Filipina mother and a Black American father.
So far, she has won four Grammys including “Best R&B Album” in 2019 and “Song of the Year” for “I Can’t Breathe” at the ceremony last March.
H.E.R. is currently up for two of the biggest categories including “Song of the Year” for “Fight for You” and “Album of the Year” for her debut full-length album “Back of My Mind.”
She was also nominated for the following categories:
“Best R&B Album” — “Back of My Mind”
“Best R&B Song” — “Damage”
“Best Song Written for Visual Media” — “Fight for You”
“Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance / Song” — “Hold Us Together (Hope Mix)”
“Best R&B Performance” — “Damage”
“Best Traditional R&B Performance” — “Fight for You”
