More visitors will now be able to go to Boracay as further restrictions have been eased on the island.
According to Mariz Umali’s “24 Oras” report Friday, as of Nov. 16, fully vaccinated tourists are no longer required to take an RT-PCR test before going to Boracay.
All they have to present is their vaccination certificate or locally issued vaccination card with verifiable QR code.
Those who are below 12 years old, meanwhile, are exempted from taking the test and are not required to have a vaccination card.
All Boracay visitors are also required to bring the following:
- Hotel booking at an accommodation accredited by the Department of Tourism
- Roundtrip airline ticket
- Proof of residency or government-issued ID
- Health declaration form to get a QR code (required when boarding a plane)
