Armi Millare and D’Sound collaborate a 3rd time with ‘Run for Cover’

Armi Millare is back with another collab with Norwegian band D’Sound!

The song is called “Run for Cover,” a third time for both Armi and D’Sound.

According to a press statement, the track talks about “knowing when to disengage” with the message conveyed not only through the lyrics, but also in how the melody was arranged.

In creating the new song’s infectious bass lines, sticky rhythms, and sophisticated melody work, the musicians took inspiration from their previous collaborations, 2018’s “Lykkelig” and 2019’s “Somewhere in Between.”

Sharing the news on Instagram, the UDD vocalist said how proud she is of “Run for Cover.”

“Not to mention the collaborative process between [two] cities was challenging, different time zones still in a panny and all, but the results show it’s all worth it,” she wrote in the caption.

“Thank you to everyone who made this vision come true. I felt the love and support of those who know what’s in my heart,” Armi continued.

What’s more: “Run for Cover” will be included in 25, the Oslo-based group’s 25th anniversary release, which will drop in January 2022.

In the meantime, the song is available for streaming on Spotify and YouTube.

Apart from the trio of collabs with D’Sound, Armi in 2020 released a solo outing, “Two Worlds,” which was co-written and produced by D’Sound’s Kim Ofstad and Magnus Martinsen. — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA News
