With just a day away from the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 preliminaries, Missosology revealed its second round hot picks.
On Thursday, the pageant website named Miss Taguig Katrina Dimaranan its hot pick for the crown, a huge step-up for the candidate after placing 7th in its previous selection released earlier this month.
Following Dimaranan on the list are Cavite’s Victoria Velasquez Vincent, Pangasinan’s Maureen Christa Wroblewitz, Cebu province’s Steffi Rose Aberasturi, and Manila’s Izabella Jasmine Umali.
According to Missosology, the past week has given it a clearer view of the competition and a better look on who among the candidates is posed to take home the crown.
“Seeing the girls side-by-side [with] each other, posting OOTDs and sponsored content on their social media accounts gave us a better look as to who among them pose the universal charisma, beauty, and wit,” it said.
At the start of September, Missosology released its first round of hot picks, with Miss Cavite Victoria Velasquez Vincent leading the list.
According to Lazada, the pageant’s official voting platform this year, the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 virtual fan voting has been extended until Sept. 29.
The National Costume competition is set to happen tonight, Sept. 23, while the preliminary interviews will be on Sept. 24 and the swimsuit and evening gown competition on Sept. 26.
The official date for the grand coronation night is yet to be announced by the Miss Universe Philippines organization. – RC, GMA News
