Good news, foodies and chicken lovers! The KFC Double Down sandwich is back!
“Still all buns. Still all meat. Just like before,” KFC said on its poster announcing the good news.
Popular for substituting crispy fried-chicken fillets for buns, the Double Down features two strips of crunchy bacon slathered with cheese and mayonnaise.
According to its website, one sandwich costs P189 and it is available in Original and Zinger.
Customers can order for delivery via 88-87-8888 or download the mobile app on Google Play or App Store.
They can also order via drive-thru, take-out or via their delivery partners GrabFood and Food Panda.
The sandwich was launched in the Philippines in 2010 for a limited-time release. It would occasionally come back in different versions such as the Double Down Dog and the Double Down G.
